Lake Pontchartrain is home to some of the best seafood anyone will find in Louisiana!

It feeds from the Gulf of Mexico, bringing in great catches when it comes to seafood, the most popular and iconic for the New Orleans area being the "Redfish" or Red Drum.

Blackened Redfish is staple dish in Southern Louisiana, as well as other blackened local seafood such as other fish varieties, shrimp and even alligator!
 

Our Pontchartrain Blackening Season is packed full of flavor and adds the perfect level of heat.  It is also salt free, due to the fact that fresh seafood can already be a bit salty, so you can add salt according to your preference.​

While it is great for just about any seafood application, it can also be used for chicken, pork and can even be a great addition to pasta dishes! ​​
